There are many types of key styles that Nissan has used over the years. Most Nissan models manufactured before the 00’s use regular metal keys, but after the turn of the millennium, they started using transponders to add security to their vehicles. Without the proper kind of microchip and a sophisticated programming procedure, a key will not start your vehicle. In recent years, Nissan has taken it a step further by introducing smart keys that don’t even use a key blade to start your vehicle. Lost keys

Our mobile fleet of vans are stocked with top of the line key cutters and programmers. Within minutes of your initial call, we will have a technician at your location to make a brand new key. The technician we send you will be trained in creating new keys from scratch without using an existing key to copy. He will use non invasive techniques to get the information necessary to make your key. Using a sophisticated tool called a Lishi tool, the technician will read your locks to get the cuts for the metal portion of the key. Once a metal key is cut, he will test it on all of the locks in the vehicle before moving forward to the programming procedure.



Metal Keys

Most models manufactured before the 2000’s take regular metal keys. You won’t need to bring your vehicle in to get it programmed, but it is a good idea to bring the vehicle in so that we can test the new key(s) before you leave to prevent you having to make an additional trip to come back.

Transponder Keys

We are experienced in the different types of microchips that Nissan use and the various programming procedures necessary to introduce new transponders to a vehicle’s system. If you have a key that you would like duplicated, give us a call and we can prepare everything so that we are ready when you arrive to get your new key. We will cut, program, and test your key in less than 25 minutes of your arrival! Is your key a little worn and not working the way it used to? Request your key to be generated by factory specific code and we will create a brand new key that is cut at exactly the depths (down to a thousandth of a millimeter) that Nissan uses.

If you are stuck somewhere without a key to your vehicle, call us and we will send somebody to your location immediately after your call. We will read your locks and make a key blade that works based off the locks and we will hook up our machine to your OBD to read your system and see what we will do to get your vehicle to accept a new chip without an existing one.
