Lexus 2009 – 2013 4-Button Smart Key
This is a four button remote push to start remote to open vehicle with a proximity type key without the need to use an actual key. Three buttons: lock, unlock, trunk and panic.

Important tip: ALWAYS make sure the FCC ID and Board match the requirements for your vehicle. If a smart proximity key is being added to your system it is easy to do. It is usually stamped on the back of the remote or under the key(if it is a flip key version). If it is an aftermarket key it may not have the stamp but it will be on the packaging that comes with the remote.
Programming your Smart Proximity key
Adding a key using Advanced Diagnostic’s Smart Pro:
Step 1: Connect a key programmer to the ODB port of the car
Step 2: Select the make, model, and year range of the car
Step 3: Connect to the immobilizer
Step 4: Select Program Keys
Step 5: Push the “Play” Button
Step 6: Follow on screen instructions to touch the emblem side of the remote to the push button with any original remotes followed the the new remote(You should hear a beep with each remote registered)
Step 7: Press okay and then the screen should read “Success!”
Step 8: Remove all original remotes from close proximity(min 5 – 10 ft away)
Step 9: Test all of the buttons on the fob and then start the vehicle
All Keys are lost:
Step 1: Connect a key programmer to the ODB port of the car
Step 2: Select the make, model, and year range of the car
Step 3: Connect to the immobilizer
Step 4: Click on reset immobilizer (Driver door needs to be open for the entire procedure and it takes about 15 minutes to run)
Step 5: Follow steps 4-9 of Adding keys
